Description
Ysgubor Trehysbys is set within the Pembrokeshire National Park and only 2.5 miles from the centre of St Davids which is a stunning little city with plenty of restaurants, shops and galleries and don’t forget to visit the Cathedral and Bishop’s Palace. This makes Ysgubor Trehysbys an ideal location to explore the area. A bridle track past the cottage gives direct access to the coast path and the famous Whitesands Beach, popular with surfers, is within walking distance. Tracks and foot paths offer unlimited walking in beautiful countryside. A boat trip will take you to the magical islands of Ramsey, Skomer or Skokholm. St Justinians lifeboat station and the tiny harbour of Porthclais, and Caerfai Bay are all worth a visit.
This newly rebuilt property is highly eco-friendly with underfloor heating and hot water provided by ground source heat pump and solar water heating. The lighting is almost completely low energy and the house is double glazed and well insulated throughout. A wood burning stove provides additional space heating and gives a cheery glow especially appreciated during the winter months. The sunny conservatory offers a warm and sunny place to relax and enjoy the wonderful scenery. The property won the local design of the year award and an interior designer has furnished most of the property. If a holiday in a wonderful location and a touch of luxury to relax is what you require – look no further!
