Checking in / checking out
Q: When are the cottages let from?
A: Some cottages are let Saturday to Saturday whilst some are Friday to Friday.
Q: What is the earliest we can arrive?
A: Arrival is expected from 4pm onwards whilst departure is 10.00am prompt. Arrival may be earlier than 4pm by arrangement.
Q: Where is the key?
A: Instructions will be forwarded on receipt of full balance.
Q: Is linen provided?
A: Yes, all beds will be ready for arrival except Ty Martin. Duvets and pillows are provided with protectors only at this cottage.
Q: Do we need towels?
A: Please bring your own beach, bath and hand towels. Some cottages will provide a hand towel and a small supply of tea towels.
Q: Are the cottages cleaned?
A: All cottages are cleaned on changeover day, a small supply of cleaning materials is kept at each cottage, guests are expected to leave the cottages reasonably clean. A cleaner may be arranged during your stay at a fee.
Local amenities
Q: Where is the nearest sandy beach?
A: The Pembrokeshire coastline has a wealth of small coves and beaches ready to be explored. Newgale and Whitesands are two of the largest beaches nearer to St Davids, whilst Newport Sands and Cwm yr Eglwys are just two of many delightful beaches heading North.
Q: Where is the nearest shop?
A: Fishguard (VisitFishguard.co.uk) is a small market town with food stores whilst Haverfordwest and Cardigan have large supermarkets. St Davids and Newport also have food stores, whilst all garages in the locality have small shops offering the basic provisions.
Q: Where can I get logs?
A: All garages sell logs and coal. Some of the cottages do provide logs.
Q: Where is the nearest pub?
A: Whilst there are many historic and characterful hostelries in Pembrokeshire, you do need to drive from most of the cottages.
Bookings and Payments
Q: Do you offer weekend breaks?
A: Available out of season breaks are charged at 60% of tariff maximum 3 nights stay and 80% of tariff maximum 5 nights stay. It is worthwhile phoning to check availability.
Q: Is a deposit required?
A: Yes. 25% of the tariff is required with the booking request. The balance is payable in full two months before the holiday.
Q: Is there a breakage deposit?
A: No, however we ask guests to pay for items damaged or broken during their stay. In the event of substantial damage the cottage owner is advised and further recompense may be sought.
Animals / Children / Accessibility
Q: Can I bring a pet?
A: Well behaved pets are welcome at many of the cottages, whilst some are pet free.
Q: Can I smoke?
A: Guests are asked to kindly smoke outside at all of our cottages.
Q: Is it suitable for children?
A: Each cottage is individual, please phone to discuss your needs.
Q: Is it suitable for disabled?
A: Garnllys Farmhouse has been specifically designed for wheelchair users.
